What we collect
- What you type into our contact form: your name, business name, email, phone number and message.
- Emails and calls you make to us.
- Basic visit data, like pages viewed, device type and rough location, through our website analytics.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and book your free call.
- To provide our services if you become a client, including filming and photography you have agreed to.
- To understand how people use our website so we can improve it.
We never sell your data. We only send you marketing emails if you ask us to, and you can stop them at any time.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we use your data because you asked us to contact you (legitimate interests and steps before a contract), to deliver a contract with you, or because you gave consent.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run this website, send email and measure traffic, such as our hosting, email and analytics providers. They only use your data to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years. Client records are kept for as long as UK law requires, usually 6 years for accounting.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, ask us to stop using it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email hello@themarketingcompanyuk.com and we'll reply within one month.
